The exquisite architectural style of the resort echoes its surroundings, providing a peaceful sophistication.

Every aspect was a visual feast, offering incomparable vistas of the turquoise sea and the resort's beautiful gardens from around the resort.

The Ocean Villas, a haven of stunning comfort, expertly displayed the combination between traditional experience and luxury.

At Layana, the senses are attracted not only by the aesthetics, but also by the promise of a one-of-a-kind experience. The facilities at the resort have been thoughtfully designed to meet every need, from the relaxing spa, which provides a variety of bespoke treatments, to the stunning beach-front infinity pool where we witnessed the most incredible sunsets.

Our culinary journey at Layana was a perfect blend of flavour and display. We couldn't miss the Saturday evening BBQ buffet. We tasted an array of wonderful dishes under the starlit sky, this was truly a memorable experience. The evening included an exciting fire performance, a magnificent symphony of light and movement that set the tone for an amazing dinner.

Beyond the boundaries of the resort, we immersed ourselves in the thrilling beauty of Koh Lanta and the surrounding islands. The resort's signature offering, the Sundowners Cruise, was a breathtaking excursion across the Andaman Sea. It was an adventure in and of itself to see the sun set over a stunning sandbar and tranquil waters.

Our visit to Koh Rok and Koh Haa, courtesy of the resort's excursion packages, revealed a stunning underwater world. The aquatic life in all its beauty was an incredible experience, with many snorkeling opportunities throughout the day trip, each more colourful and beautiful than the last.

The resort's richness of wildlife attests to its peaceful interaction with the environment. It wasn't uncommon to see majestic eagles soaring overhead or wild reptiles running around, which made for great photography subjects and wonderful company during our stay.

What we will say is, we highly recommend ample mosquito spray during your stay. Don't worry if you forget to pack this, Layana were kind enough to provide us with plenty. It's these thoughtful little details that we really appreciated during our stay, making this Koh Lanta trip such a unique experience.
